This is Nancy. She’s our cute-as-a-button logo, which you can now make and customise with our fabulous new pattern.
Nancy was created exclusively for the Nude Ewe by blogger and Red Heart Yarns designer Nancy Anderson, aka ‘Miss Julep’. And since this woolly little girl is so perfectly cheeky we just had to name the pattern after her!
The pattern combines knitting in the round with basic needle felting techniques. Nancy is suitable for the advanced beginner who wants to try needle felting. She has drinking straws in her legs for strength, and she has a pebble (or a little sack of beads, as you like) in her, ahem, ‘derrière’ to offset the weight of her head. She’s endlessly adaptable, and we’ve already made her a couple of friends (sheep are flock animals after all). So now Nancy shares her meadow with her Manx and North Ronaldsay friends.
