In between a morning stitch and bitch at Scald End Farm (home to Fibre East) and the rugby (Cymru am byth!) I quickly opened the next parcel in my swap package. Today’s lovely offering was stitch markers! And not any stitch markers but special little ones, perfect for my many sock projects.

These were made by E.B. Crafts, whose bunny-adorned business card is almost as cute as their items. The stitch markers are about 4mm in diameter and metal with a bead which the back of the card describes rather accurately as ‘purpley blue’. They totally remind me of the piercing jewellery we had to order from California in the days before piercing became so popular. I would have loved to have had these adorning my ears or navel, being a trifle too small for my nose. They will of course however be used for their intended purpose and not inserted into any cutaneous holes, many of which have closed up anyway.

So now I just have to find the perfect pattern for my ‘bing’ wool, one that knits up on little needles and needs a few little stitch markers. But first, the rugby is on soon…

They are pretty, and they do look a bit like body jewelry :-)

They’re wicked, I’m so looking forward to using them. And there’s absolutely nothing on them to catch on the yarn. I’ve got lots of cool stitch markers but no matter what type they are there’s always some little thing to snag on. These are totally smooth.
